13th to 16th July 2000 - Centro Cultural e de
Congressos de Aveiro The ACAD-Aradas Cultural Association¹ and the
AAUAv- Aveiro University Academic Association¹ will host the FESTA DO RITMO in the city
of Aveiro, in Northern Portugal.
The main area for the performances will be the Centro Cultural e de Congressos . There
will be many other events and performances throughout Aveiro¹s streets, cafés and other
locations !
FESTA DO RITMO is set to be an eclectic event with a wide range of musical genres such as
jazz, world music, contemporary, classical and dance, to name but a few.
There is also plenty of room for workshops and masterclasses on all thing PERCUSSIVE! This
is the first festival of its kind in Portugal and the theme country for 2000 is BRAZIL.
